  • Weekend Fine Arts Events

    Following successful winter concert tours, the Gustavus Wind Orchestra and the Gustavus Choir will present their Home Concerts on Saturday, Feb. 12 in Christ Chapel at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively.Both concerts are free and open to the public. There’s also a USAF Brass concert on Sunday, Feb. 13.

  • Rich Aune Named Director of Admission

    Gustavus Adolphus College Vice President for Enrollment Management Tom Crady announced today that Rich Aune ’81 has been named director of admission for the College. Aune has worked in the Gustavus Office of Admission for 26 years.

  • Weather Postpones Saturday Events

    Weather conditions in the region have led to the following Saturday, Nov. 13 Gustavus event changes: -Cancellation of the 14 and 18 USTA girls tournament. -Postponement of the football game to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14. Check here for additional updates.

  • Highways 169 and 99 Re-open

    All roads into and out of St. Peter and routes leading to Gustavus are now open, including U.S. Highway 169 (from Le Sueur to St. Peter) and Minnesota Highway 99 east. These roads and others were recently closed due to recent flooding of the Minnesota River.

  • Gustavus Student Receives $50,000 EPA Fellowship

    Gustavus Adolphus College junior biology major Ethan Degner has been awarded a $50,000 Environmental Protection Agency Greater Research Opportunities (EPA GRO) Fellowship for Undergraduate Environmental Study. Degner was one of 30 fellowship recipients selected from throughout the nation.

  • Gustavus Launches Ad Campaign

    This week Gustavus will launch a statewide advertising campaign targeted to reach Minnesota high school students and their parents. The ad campaign will include newspaper, magazine, radio, outdoor/billboard, and social media outlets in and around the state’s most populated areas.

    Gustavus Adolphus College is once again rated a top college, in The Princeton Review’s guidebook, The Best 373 Colleges, 2011 Edition. This annual ranking, released Aug. 2, 2010, is based solely on input from college students.

  • Foiled Office Shows Community Spirit, Makes News

    Some students and faculty members at Gustavus Adolphus College conduct serious research during the summer, when classes are not in session, but they also manage to have a little fun as evidenced by the fact that a professor’s office was completely redecorated by student researchers using aluminum foil.
