Mexican Consul to Speak at Gustavus Wednesday

Ana Luisa Fajer, Consul of Mexico who is based in St. Paul, will speak publicly at Gustavus Adolphus College at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24. Fajer’s presentation is titled “A Bonding Between Two Nations: Myths and Challenges of Mexican Immigration in Minnesota,” and will take place in room 127 of Confer Hall.

The annual Building Bridges Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College was recently honored as the recipient of the Minnesota College Professional Association’s Voice of Inclusion Award. The award recognizes initiatives or individuals who serve Minnesota higher education by creating exemplary environments of inclusion for students, employees, and institutions.

Tickets for the 40th annual Christmas in Christ Chapel celebration at Gustavus Adolphus College will go on sale to the general public at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 16. This year’s celebration will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 2 and is titled Jubilee: Proclaiming the Year of the Lord’s Favor.
