Recapping the Royal Visit

Gustavus Adolphus College welcomed Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden to campus on Friday, Oct. 5. The day included a Festival Worship Service, the dedication of the Sesquicentennial Plaza, and concurrent panel discussions on topics — environmental sustainability and protecting the world’s women and children — of specific interest and importance to Their Majesties.

Below you will be able to watch archived video of those events, view photographs from the day, and watch and read stories by media outlets that covered the day’s activities.
