Gustavus Adolphus College welcomed Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden to campus on Friday, Oct. 5. The day included a Festival Worship Service, the dedication of the Sesquicentennial Plaza, and concurrent panel discussions on topics — environmental sustainability and protecting the world’s women and children — of specific interest and importance to Their Majesties.
