Lydia Benge Briggs was one of 545 Gustavus students who earned their bachelor’s degree on Sunday, June 2, at the College’s 2013 commencement ceremony. The Grantsburg, Wisconsin native graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in communication studies. She has been hired by Boom Lab, a company that hires talented and promising recent college graduates and trains and mentors them to become successful corporate consultants.
Several weeks before commencement, Benge Briggs sat down and reflected on the last four years that she spent at Gustavus Adolphus College.
