Ingemar Eliasson to Give Thursday’s Wallenberg Lecture

Former Swedish politician, economist, and governor Ingemar Eliasson will give Gustavus Adolphus College’s annual Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in Alumni Hall, located on the upper level of the O.J. Johnson Student Union.

Behold the Coach, In a Blazer, Uninsured Opens Oct. 25

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to open its 2012-2013 season with the contemporary dark comedy Behold the Coach, In a Blazer, Uninsured (and Other Good Intentions), a collection of five short plays written by Will Eno and directed by Henry MacCarthy.

Christmas in Christ Chapel Ticket Information

Tickets for the 40th annual Christmas in Christ Chapel celebration at Gustavus Adolphus College will go on sale to the general public at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 16. This year’s celebration will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 2 and is titled Jubilee: Proclaiming the Year of the Lord’s Favor.

Nobel Conference Presentations Now Available Online

Nearly 5,000 people attended the 48th Nobel Conference, titled Our Global Ocean, on Oct. 2-3, but for those who were unable to attend in person or watch via live streaming, all eight presentations are now archived online on the College's You Tube page.

Recapping the Royal Visit

Gustavus Adolphus College will welcome Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden to campus on Friday, Oct. 5. The royal visit is in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the College by Swedish immigrants in 1862.
