When Gustavus commenced its annual Spring Break from March 30 to April 7, 94 students traveled to three different locations across the country to participate in a Habitat for Humanity service trip.
Forty Gustavus students traveled to Laredo, Texas, 27 ventured to Pensacola, Florida, and another 27 traveled to Maryville, Tennessee. The students performed various home construction tasks such as roofing, painting, framing, and putting up sheetrock. Students also spent time engaging with community members in the respective cities.
