Take the Hill TriathlonGustavus Adolphus College and the Epsilon Pi Alpha Fraternity will host the sixth annual Take the Hill Triathlon on Saturday, May 4. The event is a benefit for Insulindependence, a nonprofit organization that aims to help type-1 diabetics live active and healthy lifestyles. The organization was founded by Gustavus and Epsilon Pi Alpha alumnus Peter Nerothin ’02.

The triathlon consists of a 500-yard swim in the Lund Center Natatorium pool, a 12.5 mile bike ride and 3.3 mile run. Athletes can register for the event online at takethehilltri.org.

The schedule for the triathlon is as follows:

• 7:15-8:30 a.m. / Check-in and body marking / Don Roberts Ice Arena
• 8:45 a.m. / Mandatory pre-race meeting for all triathletes / Don Roberts Ice Arena
• 9 a.m. / First heat / Lund Center Natatorium
• 1 p.m. / Prizes and awards
