Gustavus Adolphus College Assistant Professor of Geography Anna Versluis was featured in a front page story in the Mankato Free Press on Tuesday, Jan. 10 regarding Haiti.

With the two-year anniversary of the Jan. 12, 2010, earthquake that devastated Haiti approaching, Versluis spoke with Free Press reporter Amanda Dyslin about her experiences in the Caribbean nation.

Versluis lived in Haiti for several years in the late 1990s and frequently returns to visit friends and conduct research. Versluis traveled to Port-au-Prince in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake and interviewed Haitians living in displacement campus.
