Tickets for the 39th annual Christmas in Christ Chapel celebration at Gustavus Adolphus College will go on sale to the general public at noon on Monday, Oct. 17. This year’s celebration will be held Dec. 2-4 and is themed Julljus: Light from the Old World, Light to the New.
Tickets for the worship services and the annual buffet will be available for purchase online at gustavustickets.com. Those wishing to purchase tickets who do not have access to the internet can order tickets over the phone by calling 507-933-7520. Tickets for the worship service and the buffet are sold separately and are $17.50 each.
Tickets are currently available to Gustavus students and staff, who are each allotted one complimentary ticket for one worship service. Additional tickets, including tickets for the buffet, can be purchased online at gustavustickets.com for $17.50 each.
This year’s services will be held on the following dates and times:
- Friday, Dec. 2 – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 3 – 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 3 – 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 4 – 3:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 4 – 7:30 p.m.
A Gustavus tradition since 1973, Christmas in Christ Chapel is an opportunity for students, their parents, faculty and staff members, alumni, and others to gather and celebrate the birth of Christ through music and visual art. Approximately 250 students, faculty, and staff bring this program to life each year, sharing music, dances, spoken word, and prayer with the Gustavus community.
