Star Tribune Features Former President Dennis Johnson and His New Book Posted on May 23rd, 2011 by

 Johnson is a 1960 graduate of Gustavus who later served the College in many roles including as its 14th President from 2002-2003. Johnson served as Chaplain of the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2009 and 2010.

In the article Sturdevant writes, “An uplifting new book offers the Minnesota House an antidote to the dismay caused Friday by an anti-Obama, Christian-specific opening prayer. Chaplain of the House by the Rev. Dennis Johnson is a concise book of wisdom and selected prayers offered by him and guest chaplains in the House in 2009-10. It’s newly released by Hennepin House of Minneapolis.”
