International Festival Scheduled For Nov. 20 Posted on November 9th, 2010 by

The annual International Festival at Gustavus Adolphus College is scheduled for 7-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20  in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union. This event, sponsored by the International Cultures Club, is free and open to the public.

Starting at 7 p.m., there will be display tables featuring photos, information, cultural objects, and food samples from many different countries around the world. Performances will begin at 8 p.m. with music, singing, and dancing from around the world. The festival will conclude with a fashion show that will begin around 9 p.m.

The International Cultures Club is a student organization at Gustavus comprised of both international and American students with the goal of promoting international awareness and appreciation of cultures.
