First-year student Jeffrey Dubose rushed for 202 yards including an 85-yard touchdown run to help the Gustavus Adolphus College football team improve to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 42-14 victory over Hamline on Saturday, Oct. 9.
The Gustavus defense recorded four interceptions in the victory, including one that was returned 70 yards for a touchdown by senior defensive back Brad Kruckeberg.
Junior quarterback Logan Becker finished the game 15-of-22 for 184 yards and three touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Cody Sukalski caught five passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns.
The Gusties are now alone in the third place in the MIAC with a 2-1 record, with only St. Thomas (4-0) and Bethel (3-0) ahead of them.
