Watch the Nobel Conference Live Online Posted on October 4th, 2010 by

On Tuesday, Oct. 5 and Wednesday, Oct. 6, the 46th annual Nobel Conference, titled Making Food Good will take place at Gustavus Adolphus College. The conference will be viewable via a live webcast at gustavus.edu/nobelconference.

People watching the Nobel Conference from home or the office can submit a question online to the panel and also join the discussion on Twitter by adding the hashtag #nobel46 to their tweets.

The schedule for this year’s conference is as follows:

Tuesday, Oct. 5

  • 10 a.m.: Nutritionist Marion Nestle
  • 1 p.m.: Crop diversity conservator Cary Fowler
  • 3 p.m.: Obesity researcher Jeffrey M. Friedman
  • 6:30 p.m.: Minnesota Food Forum

Wednesday, Oct. 6

  • 10 a.m.: Environmental economist Bina Agarwal
  • 1 p.m.: Psychophysicist Linda Bartoshuk
  • 3 p.m.: Technology philosopher Paul B. Thompson
  • 7:45 p.m.: Futurist and author Frances Moore Lappe
