Football Team Earns First MIAC Win

The Gustavus Adolphus College football team improved to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 38-14 road victory against Concordia College on Saturday, Oct. 2.

The Gustavus Adolphus College football team improved to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 38-14 road victory against Concordia College on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Junior quarterback Logan Becker finished the game 21-of-29 for 256 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. Becker also added a rushing touchdown in the victory. First-year running back Jeffrey Dubose carried 28 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Senior linebacker Dustin Kammerer led the defense with 11 tackles and a forced fumble. The Gusties will host Hamline at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Hollingsworth Field.
