Forensics Showcase Set for May 6 Posted on May 3rd, 2010 by

The Gustavus forensics team at this year's AFA-NIET at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Gustavus Adolphus College’s nationally ranked forensics team will showcase some of its best performances of the year at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6 in the Courtyard Café, located on the lower level of the C. Charles Jackson Campus Center.

Students who will perform include seniors Mary Cunningham, Christopher Hunt, and Paula Wiggam; junior Phil Helt; sophomores Chloe Radcliffe and Sam Hemmerich; and first-year student Kate Bissen.

This year’s team finished the season ranked tenth in the nation after placing tenth at the American Forensic Association’s National Individual Events Tournament on April 2-4 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The team also won the individual events portion of the Pi Kappa Delta National Comprehensive Tournament and its third straight Minnesota Collegiate Forensics Association State Championship.
