Bri Radtke

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Bri Radtke has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) women’s basketball Player of the Year by league coaches. Radtke led this year’s Gustavus team to an overall record of 20-6 and a share of the regular season conference championship. She becomes just the second player in Gustavus women’s basketball history to receive this award.

Radtke started all 26 games this season for the Gusties and finished the season averaging 11.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. She also led the team in assists with 110. Her 97 assists in conference games put her in a tie for first place in that category. She also ranked fifth in the conference in assist to turnover ratio (1.76), ninth in field goal percentage (47.3 percent), and 11th in free throw percentage (80.9 percent)

A four-year letter winner and a four-year starter, Radtke also finished near the top of several career statistical categories in school history. She tied the school record for career games played at 108; finished second in career assists with 372; finished 10th in career steals with 164; finished 11th in career three-point field goals made with 49; finished 13th in free throws made with 183; and finished 16th in career rebounds with 415.

In addition to her strong performance on the court, Radtke is also a standout in the classroom where she is a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree and a 2010 CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
