The Gustavus Adolphus College football team concluded the 2009 season on Saturday with a dramatic, come-from-behind 20-19 victory over Concordia College.
The Gusties never led in the game until junior Greg Lane (Chaska, Minn.) returned a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown with 39 seconds remaining. Tom Huepenbecker’s extra point after Lane’s touchdown gave the Gusties the 20-19 victory.
With the win the Gusties finish the season with an overall record of 4-6 and a 3-5 mark in the MIAC. m
