Gustavus Library Associates (GLA) will sponsor its 17th biennial library fundraiser, “Shine * A Royal Affair,” Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This dinner and auction event will benefit the endowment fund of the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library on the Gustavus campus.
A Royal Affair is a gala event, which includes a formal dinner, live and silent auctions with approximately 600 items, and the joy of sharing a very special evening with friends of the Gustavus community. An online auction will take place between Nov. 5-12.

Since organizing in 1977, GLA has raised more than $2.5 million for the library endowment fund, acquisitions, and non-budgeted special collections.
