Continuing Education Events at Gustavus Adolphus College Posted on December 13th, 2007 by

Gustavus Adolphus College and the St. Peter Community and Family Education Office have teamed to provide the St. Peter community with several informational, educational, and entertaining lectures and events this year as part of the college’s Continuing Education program. The public is invited to the following continuing education events at Gustavus:

  • “Renewable Energy Comes Home” will be presented from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 in the Gustavus Interpretive Center. Director of the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation James Dontje will explore how you can green your home and save money by bringing energy conservation and renewable energy sources home. The cost for this session is $8 per person. Gustavus employees and students can register for free.
  • “Big Band: Music of Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey” from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union. Enjoy the big band swing music of St. Peter’s own, the Echoes, on Valentine’s Day. Bring a friend or someone special for good music, good company, and a good meal. Tickets are $22 per person. In the case of inclement weather, Feb. 28 will serve as the alternate date.
