Gustavus Adolphus College Assistant Professor of Chemistry Dwight Stoll has been selected to receive a prestigious Faculty Start-Up Award for 2008 from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation in New York.

Chemistry Department Receives Major Instrumentation Gift

Bill Soderlund and Soderlund Village Drug of St. Peter recently made a major gift of $205,000 to the Department of Chemistry at Gustavus Adolphus College. The gift will enable the college to purchase a Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometer, to be used in instructional laboratories and faculty/student research projects.

Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Jeffrey Johnson ’00 Receives Dreyfus Award

Dr. Jeffrey Johnson, a 2000 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and assistant professor of chemistry at Hope College in Holland, Mich., has received a Faculty Start-Up Award from the Camile and Henry Dreyfus Foundation Inc.
