Terena Wilkens, resident lighting and sound designer, technical director, and adjunct instructor in the College’s Department of Theatre and Dance, was recently honored for her work in the category of lighting on the Gustavus performance of On Ego.

Biology and Environmental Studies majors Mary Patterson ’14 and Mike Howe ’14 have spent many hours conducting research in the College’s Coneflower Prairie this summer alongside Professor of Biology Pamela Kittelson. Their research will help College officials decide how to manage the 75-acre area in the future.

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Anna Eames, who will swim at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London for Team USA later this month, was featured on the front page of the Star Tribune’s Sports section on Thursday, Aug. 23.

Bruce Gray ’61, former dean of students and associate in the advancement office at Gustavus Adolphus College, has written, with assistance from former president Dennis Johnson ’60, a personal memoir about the history of African American students at the College.

Gustavus Adolphus College announced the release of a new iPad application geared toward prospective students on Tuesday, Aug. 21. The application, which is believed to be the first of its kind among institutions of higher education, is available for download on iTunes at no charge.
