Now Elling can add the White House to that list.

International Festival Scheduled for Friday

The annual International Festival at Gustavus Adolphus College is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union. This year’s event will feature music, dancing, cultural displays, world cuisines, and a fashion show. The event is free and open to the public.

Women’s Rugby Team Advances to Nationals

For the first time in club history, the Gustavus Adolphus College women’s rugby team has advanced to the Division II Collegiate Championships. The team advanced to the 16-team national tournament by defeating Ball St. University 41-5 on Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Midwest Regional Final Four in Iowa Falls, Iowa.

The 12th annual Hunger and Homelessness Week is underway at Gustavus Adolphus College and will run through Thursday, Nov. 19. The signature event of the week is the annual “Sleep Out,” which began Sunday night.
