The Gustavus Symphony Orchestra of Gustavus Adolphus College, conducted by Gregory J. Aune, is making final preparations for a seven-day, six-concert tour that will take it to parts of Michigan and Illinois.

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Bri Radtke has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) women’s basketball Player of the Year by league coaches. Radtke led this year’s Gustavus team to an overall record of 20-6 and a share of the regular season conference championship.

Diana Taylor, a world-renowned expert in the fields of performance studies and Latin American studies, will speak at this year’s Herbert P. and Mary Jane Lefler Lecture at Gustavus Adolphus College.

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s hockey teams both received bids to their respective NCAA Tournament’s, which will begin play this week.

The Choir of Christ Chapel of Gustavus Adolphus College will travel southwest to Arizona when it embarks on its annual tour April 15-18. The upcoming tour includes concert dates in Sun City West, Phoenix, and Tucson.

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team topped St. Catherine 5-1 on Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink to win its seventh consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoff championship. With the win, the team will earn the automatic bid from the MIAC to the NCAA Tournament, which begins next weekend.

A group of approximately 70 Gustavus Adolphus College students and staff, including President Jack R. Ohle, took a bus to St. Paul on Thursday, March 4 to advocate for need-based student financial aid through the Minnesota State Grant Program.

The Gustavus Jazz Lab Band from Gustavus Adolphus College will embark on a six-day concert tour to various locations in Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Virginia March 26-31.

The Gustavus Adolphus College Alumni Board of Directors has announced that Mark Anderson ’66, the College’s Vice President for Admission and Financial Aid, will receive the Greater Gustavus Award.
