Three Gustavus Adolphus College faculty members are among a small group of individuals who were recently able to give a Le Sueur family the gift of a lifetime just in time for the holiday season.

Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to announce that the topic for its 2012 MAYDAY! Peace Conference will be “Multicultural Sweden.” This year’s conference will be held on Wednesday, May 2, and will feature a full day’s worth of speakers and activities.

A study authored by Gustavus professors and academic librarians Barbara Fister and Julie Gilbert is the subject of a recent article by U.S. News & World Report reporter Ryan Lytle.

Taylor Branch, arguably the preeminent biographer of Martin Luther King Jr., will deliver the 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Lecture at Gustavus Adolphus College at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16 in Christ Chapel.

In recognition of its Sesquicentennial, Gustavus Adolphus College has published two books chronicling the College’s history. Written by Minnesota based writer Dave Kenney, Gustavus: 150 Years of History and Gustavus: 150 Years of Images & Stories are now both available for purchase at the Book Mark and online.

The Gustavus Forensics Program will host its annual showcase event from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 in the atrium of Beck Academic Hall. Seven different team members will give 10-minute performances.
