Women’s Golf Places Third at NCAA Championships

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s golf team placed third at the Division III NCAA Championships at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Saturday. Junior Kali Griggs finished in a tie for sixth individually.

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s golf team placed third at the Division III NCAA Championships at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Saturday. Junior Kali Griggs finished in a tie for sixth individually.

Methodist University won the championship with team scores of 321, 310, 310, and 316 for a four-day total of 1,257. The Gusties recorded team scores of 322, 324, 326, and 325 for a four-day total of 1,297.

Griggs turned in rounds of 77, 80, 78, and 79 to finish the tournament at 26 over par and in a tie for sixth place. Senior Kimbra Kosak recorded rounds of 80, 83, 81, and 83 to finish at 39 over par and in a tie for 27th place.
