Lisa Ling will give the keynote address at the Gustavus Adolphus College 12th annual Building Bridges Conference at noon Saturday, March 10 in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union. The theme of this year’s conference is “Find Your Voice: Putting Awareness Into Action.”
Lisa Ling is the host of the award-winning documentary series “Explorer” from the National Geographic Channel. As the first woman host since the series’ premiere two decades ago, Ling immerses herself in the stories she investigates, sometimes going undercover and into dangerous locations. Ling also serves as a special contributor to “The Oprah Winfrey Show” where she reports from various locations such as India and the Congo.
The conference is open to the public. Cost is $10 for non-student adults, and free of charge for college students, high school students, St. Peter residents, and Gustavus students, faculty, and staff.

· 2:30-3:30 p.m. — Workshop Session 2
· 3:30-4:30 p.m. — “I Am, We Are” performance
· 4:30 p.m. — Closing Remarks
