The Campus Activities Board at Gustavus Adolphus College has announced that the music duo Timeflies will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, May 9 in Lund Arena.

Timeflies formed in October of 2010 and consists of producer Rob Resnick and vocalist Cal Shapiro. The two met in 2007 while attending Tufts University and performed together as part of a funk band called The Ride.
Timeflies uses elements of pop, hip-hop, dub step, and rock, and aims to escape genre limitations to create their expressive music. In September of 2011, the duo released their debut album, The Scotch Tape, which rose to No. 8 on the iTunes overall chart and No. 2 on the iTunes Pop chart within 24 hours of its release.
In November of 2012, they released their first EP, One Night, which reached No. 1 on the iTunes overall charts. Their second EP, Warning Signs, featuring the hit single, “I Choose U”, was released in October of 2013.
