The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s swimming and diving team captured its third consecutive MIAC Championship over the weekend by compiling 687 points during the three-day event at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Gustavus edged second place St. Olaf by 44 points to win the title, while St. Thomas placed third.

“This championship is a credit to the strong leadership and character of this season’s senior class,” head coach Jon Carlson said. “After finishing runner-up their first year, these individuals committed themselves to returning the women’s swimming and diving program back to the top of the podium, which they have now accomplished three times over.”
