Women’s Hockey Clinches 8th Straight MIAC Title

The Gustavus women’s hockey team clinched its eighth consecutive MIAC title and 11th overall with a 5-0 shutout over Saint Mary’s University on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter. The win propels the sixth-ranked Gusties to 18-1-2 overall and 13-0-1 in the MIAC this season.

The Gustavus women’s hockey team clinched its eighth consecutive MIAC title and 11th overall with a 5-0 shutout over Saint Mary’s University on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter. The win propels the sixth-ranked Gusties to 18-1-2 overall and 13-0-1 in the MIAC this season.

The team has four regular season games left on its schedule, including two apiece against St. Olaf and St. Benedict. They will be the No. 1 seed when the MIAC Playoffs begin on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The team will host a semifinal round game on Thursday, March. 1.
