Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine has named Gustavus Adolphus College one of the top-100 best values among liberal arts colleges in the country based on the College’s outstanding academics and its great economic value.

“We ranked No. 40 on the list thanks in part to a high four-year graduation rate, low average student debt at graduation, a strong student-to-faculty ratio, excellent on-campus resources, and overall great value,” Gustavus President Jack R. Ohle said.

The annual Kiplinger top-100 rankings will appear in Kiplinger’s December issue, which will hit newsstands on Nov. 8. The full list of colleges can be found at kiplinger.com/links/college.

“The institutions on Kiplinger’s rankings for best value in private colleges represent schools that provide high-quality academics as well as affordable cost even in these tough times,” said Jane Bennett Clark, Senior Associate Editor for Kiplinger’s Personal Finance. “With money tight and the college choice so important, you have every reason to expect the best bang for your buck.”
