The No. 8 ranked Gustavus Adolphus College men’s soccer team will put its undefeated 5-0 record on the line this afternoon when it hosts St. Olaf College at 4 p.m.
The team made a significant jump in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, moving from No. 24 to No. 8 after victories last week over the University of California-Santa Cruz and Cal Lutheran University on a West Coast road trip.
The Gusties have outscored their opponents so far this season by a combined total of 15-1. Senior forward Mark Adams leads the team in scoring through five games with five goals and one assist. First-year goaltender Brett Ylonen is 4-0 on the season with a 0.26 goals against average.
