Michael Middleton Named Men’s Head Soccer Coach

Michael Middleton has been named the new head coach of the men’s soccer program at Gustavus Adolphus College. Middleton, a 1983 graduate of Leeds Carnegie College of Physical Education and Recreation in the United Kingdom, is replacing Larry Zelenz, who resigned in May after serving as the men’s soccer coach for the past 24 years.

Don Scheese Receives Fulbright Award

Don Scheese, professor of English and environmental studies at Gustavus Adolphus College, has been awarded a Fulbright grant for the 2010-11 academic year. Scheese will teach courses in American Studies in the Ukraine in the spring of 2011 during his year-long sabbatical.
