Forensics Team Places Sixth at Prestigious L.E. Norton Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team placed sixth out of 47 teams at the prestigious L.E. Norton Memorial Tournament on Nov. 6-7 on the campus of Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Alumnus Starring in Guthrie Production of The 39 Steps

Robert O. Berdahl, a 1990 alumnus of Gustavus Adolphus College is currently starring in the Guthrie Theatre production of The 39 Steps.

Jo Ellen Fair, professor of journalism and mass communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will give this year’s Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. tonight in Wallenberg Auditorium.

Five Alumni Elected to State Legislature

Jonas Hafström, a Swedish diplomat, currently serving as Sweden’s ambassador to the United States will visit Gustavus Adolphus College on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Home Free in Concert at Gustavus Saturday

The award-winning a cappella sensation Home Free will perform at Gustavus Adolphus College's Jussi Björling Recital Hall Saturday, Nov. 6. This Artist Series performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

Gustavus Sorority to Host Battle of the Bands for Charity

The Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at Gustavus Adolphus College is hosting its first annual Battle of the Bands event at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 in Alumni Hall. The event will raise money for the Robbie Page Memorial Fund and Gillette Children’s Hospital of Minneapolis.
