Longtime Friend of Famous Art Faker to Give Sunday Lecture

Mark Forgy, longtime friend of notorious art faker Elmyr de Hory, will present a free public lecture at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21 in Wallenberg Auditorium, located in the Alfred Nobel Hall of Science.

Women’s Hockey Advances to NCAA Championship Finals

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team advanced to the Division III NCAA Championship Finals on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 victory over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The win means that Gustavus will host this year’s national semifinals and final on March 19-20 at Don Roberts Ice Rink.

Versluis to Give Public Lecture on Haiti Earthquake Aftermath

Anna Versluis, assistant professor of geography at Gustavus Adolphus College, will give a free public lecture regarding the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti at 7 p.m. Monday, March 15 in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union.

Men’s Hockey Advances to NCAA Quarterfinals

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s hockey team defeated the University of St. Thomas 3-1 Wednesday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in the first round of the Division III NCAA Tournament.

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Bri Radtke has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) women’s basketball Player of the Year by league coaches. Radtke led this year’s Gustavus team to an overall record of 20-6 and a share of the regular season conference championship.
