Women’s Golf Wins MIAC Championship

Gustavus Adolphus College won the 2009 MIAC Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday, Oct. 6 with a three-day total of 968 (+104). With the victory, the Gusties earn the MIAC's automatic berth into the NCAA Championships this spring.

Schedule Change Will Bring Shawn Otto to Nobel Conference

Shawn Otto, co-founder and CEO of Science Debate 2008, has been added to the 2009 Nobel Conference line-up at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Otto will replace poet-playwright Derek Walcott who was forced to cancel due to medical reasons.

Nobel Conference Presenter to Appear on MPR

The 45th annual Nobel Conference will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 6, but on Monday, Oct. 5, Nancy Rabalais, one of the presenters at this year's conference will appear on Minnesota Public Radio's Midday show.

Ridley Named Semifinalist for National Scholar-Athlete Award

Gustavus senior football player T.J. Ridley has been selected as one of 154 semifinalists for the 2009 William V. Campbell Trophy by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. Ridley is a biology major with a 3.95 grade point average.
