Gustavus Adolphus College will be one of three locations in the state of Minnesota to hold a Fields of Faith event at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Fields of Faith is a national event organized by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) national office where students invite their own classmates and teammates to meet on their school’s athletic field to hear fellow students share their faith testimonies, challenge them to read the Bible, and to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Students from the Gustavus chapter of FCA along with the student organizations Prepare Ministries and Proclaim will lead the event which will take place on Hollingsworth Field. This is a free and public event with members of the St. Peter and greater Mankato area communities invited to attend.
Nationwide there will be more than 250 Fields of Faith events on Oct. 8 in 34 different states. Other Minnesota locations include Southwest Minnesota State University and Waseca High School.
