Gustavus Adolphus College will inaugurate Jack R. Ohle as its 15th president at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 in Christ Chapel. The public is invited to celebrate this event along with a reception on Eckman Mall that will follow the ceremony.
Several events are planned before and after the inauguration ceremony intended to celebrate Gustavus and the beginning of Ohle’s tenure:

Celebrate Gustavus: Student Homecoming and Inaugural Week Kickoff; celebration for Gustavus students at 6 p.m. in the Evelyn Young Dining Room, located in the C. Charles Jackson Campus Center
Celebrate Gustavus: A Community of Learners; Dr. John W. Churchill, secretary of the Phi Beta Kappa Society will deliver a lecture for the campus community at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union.
Celebrate Gustavus: Inauguration of President Jack R. Ohle; ceremony at 3:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel with a reception to follow on Eckman Mall. This event is free and open to the public.
Celebrate Gustavus: Inaugural Tree Dedication; ceremony at 10:30 a.m. in the Linnaeus Arboretum. This event is free and open to the public.
Celebrate Gustavus: Oktoberfest; buffet-style dinner will immediately follow the Homecoming football game in the Lund Center Forum. Cost is $7 per person.
