Approximately 800 items that will be auctioned off as part of this year’s A Royal Affair may now be viewed online. About 100 of the items are now available for online bidding between Oct. 18-25. The remaining 700 items will go to the highest bidder at the silent and live auctions during A Royal Affair Oct. 27.

A Royal Affair is a biennial library fundraiser sponsored by Gustavus Library Associates (GLA). This year’s event will be held at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel and will benefit the endowment fund of the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library.

Since organizing in 1977, GLA has raised more than $2.5 million for the library endowment fund, acquisitions, and non-budgeted special collections.
