Commencement Exercises May 27 at Gustavus Posted on May 18th, 2007 by

At 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 595 seniors will receive their bachelor of arts degrees from Gustavus Adolphus College during commencement exercises at Hollingsworth Field. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremonies will be moved indoors to Lund Center for Physical Education and Health.

This will be the last commencement ceremony held at Hollingsworth Field. Graduates will receive their diplomas from the faculty chair in their respective majors, a tradition that began in 1973. Graduating senior Marcus Schmit, a political science major from Red Wing, has been selected to deliver the senior addresss.

If you are unable to attend this year’s commencement exercises, you can watch the ceremony via a live webcast by clicking here.
