Women’s Hockey to Advance to Semifinals
The Gustavus women’s hockey team will play in the NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Semifinals on Friday, March 18, 2011. After a 4-1 defeat over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 11 in River Falls, Wis., the Gusties will take on Norwich University. The quarterfinal win was a sweet defeat as the Gusties had fallen to UW-RF 4-2 in regular season play on Dec. 10.
Women’s Hockey Team Vies for MIAC Playoff Championship
The Gustavus women’s hockey team is competing for the MIAC Championship title this weekend. At 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5,2011, the Gusties will take on Bethel on home ice.
Hockey Teams Win MIAC Championships
Both the Gustavus men's and women's hockey teams used home ice to their advantage on Wednesday night to win MIAC Playoff Championship games and advance to the NCAA Tournament.
