Four graduates of Gustavus Adolphus College have worked together on one coaching staff this season to help lead a high school to its first ever appearance in the Minnesota girls’ basketball state tournament.

Marcia Grann O’Brien, a 1962 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College is featured in a new book titled Letters to Jackie: Condolences From a Grieving Nation.

Peter Krause, a 1987 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, will star in the new NBC one-hour drama Parenthood, which premieres at 9 p.m. Central Time Tuesday, March 2.

Kurt Elling, a 1989 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, took home his first Grammy Award Sunday, Jan. 31 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.

Gustavus Adolphus College alumnus and Grammy nominated jazz vocalist Kurt Elling has toured the world, performing to critical acclaim in Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia, and Australia, and at jazz festivals and concert halls across North America. Now Elling can add the White House to that list.

Kevin Kling, a nationally known playwright, storyteller, and author will make an appearance at Gustavus Adolphus College Friday, Nov. 20. Kling, a 1979 graduate of Gustavus, will read from his latest book, Holiday Inn.
