Beck Academic Hall Achieves LEED Platinum Certification

Beck Academic Hall at Gustavus Adolphus College has earned LEED Platinum certification—the highest rating attainable—from the U.S. Green Building Council. The 125,000 square foot, $30 million building is just the third academic facility in the state of Minnesota to achieve LEED Platinum certification.

The College will erect a new 125,000 square foot academic building. It will develop a mall extending west from its iconic Christ Chapel. Also, it will renovate its A.H. Gustavus Adolphus College has announced the hiring of BWBR Architects of St. Paul to design a new academic building for the college that will house the departments of Communication Studies, Economics and Management, History, Psychology, and Sociology and Anthropology.
