Beck Academic Hall at Gustavus Adolphus College has earned LEED Platinum certification—the highest rating attainable—from the U.S. Green Building Council. The 125,000 square foot, $30 million building is just the third academic facility in the state of Minnesota to achieve LEED Platinum certification.
The Warren & Donna Beck Academic Hall, the newest building on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus, will be officially dedicated on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m., as part of the College’s Homecoming Weekend activities.

Anderson Social Science Building.
The architectural firm hired to construct a new academic building at Gustavus, recently conducted a three-day design workshop to develop a conceptual design for the new building.
Gustavus Adolphus College has announced the hiring of BWBR Architects of St. Paul to design a new academic building for the college that will house the departments of Communication Studies, Economics and Management, History, Psychology, and Sociology and Anthropology.
