Introducing Students to a Liberal Arts Education

Now in its 20th year of existence, the First Term Seminar program at Gustavus Adolphus College involves specially designed courses intended to introduce first-year students to the aspects of a liberal arts education. Courses address questions of values and teach writing, critical thinking, and oral communication skills.

Students Raise Awareness of Homelessness with Annual SleepOut

Gustavus Adolphus College students participated in the 14th annual SleepOut Nov. 13-16 to raise awareness of the issue of homelessness in the United States.

Psychology Classes Get Creative for Kids

Two psychology classes at Gustavus Adolphus College taught by Assistant Professor of Psychology Kyle Chambers are making a difference in local communities by developing toys and museum exhibits for children.
