HIV Co-discoverer Dr. Robert Gallo at Gustavus

Dr. Robert Gallo, recognized for the co-discovery of the HIV virus as the cause of AIDS, presented “The Story of a Modern Plague: HIV and AIDS — Part 1: The Beginning” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 in Wallenberg Auditorium in Gustavus Adolphus College’s Nobel Hall of Science.

Partnering for Peace in Colombia to be Presented at Gustavus

Gustavus Adolphus College will present its annual Martin Luther King lecture at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in Wallenberg Auditorium in the Alfred Nobel Memorial Hall of Science at Gustavus. Three pastors from Colombian Peace Sanctuary Churches will address “Partnering for Peace in Colombia: the nonviolent work of the Colombian Peace Sanctuary Churches.”

The Gustavus Adolphus College Department of Music presented the 2006 Gustavus Music Showcase at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis on Sunday, March 12. The concert featured the Gustavus Choir, the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, and the Gustavus Wind Orchestra.
