At 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31, more than 600 seniors will receive their bachelor of arts degrees from Gustavus Adolphus College during commencement exercises at Hollingsworth Field. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremonies will be moved indoors to Lund Center for Physical Education and Health.

No ticket is required if the ceremony is held outdoors. If weather moves the ceremony inside, each student will be given three tickets for family and friends to watch the ceremony live inside Lund Center. An overflow area will be available for people to watch a telecast of the ceremony. For those unable to attend this year’s commencement, the ceremony will be webcast live at gustavus.edu/video/commencement.

This year’s class will represent only the second class in Gustavus history to have more than 600 graduates. Graduates will receive their diplomas from the faculty chair in their respective majors, a tradition that began in 1973.
