The Winds of Christmas, an annual performance of the music of Christmas by the combined Gustavus Wind Orchestra and Gustavus Wind Symphony, will be presented at morning worship, 10 a.m., on Tuesday, December 6, in Christ Chapel. Admission is free to this celebration of the music of Christmas directed by James Patrick Miller, Karrin Meffert-Nelson, and Heidi Johanna Miller.
Following the busy weekend of Christmas in Christ Chapel which features 350 student musicians from the choirs and the symphony orchestra, the Winds of Christmas brings nearly 150 more musicians from the wind orchestras to the Chapel to share their talents and the music of Christmas.
The concert is free and open to the public. The performance will also be streamed live online.
