Laura Leland ’13 majored in biochemistry and molecular biology at Gustavus and spent two summers conducting research with professor Jeff Dahlseid. Today, she is a lab technician at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.

For the second time in the Gustavus Choir’s 82-year history, it has received an invitation to perform at the American Choral Directors Association North Central Division Conference. This concert by the Gustavus Choir, conducted by Dr. Gregory Aune, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, March 21 at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines, Iowa.

Tane Danger ’07 founded the LineUs Improv Comedy Troupe at Gustavus and went on to co-found The Theater of Public Policy with fellow alumnus Brandon Boat ’08. More recently, Danger has been named one of 24 Bush Fellows for 2014.
