Gavin DeGraw is a New York native who has enjoyed success since breaking through in 2003 with his debut album Chariot. The album sold over a million copies, earned platinum certification, and yielded three hit singles, including “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through,” and the title track, “Chariot.”

DeGraw’s self-titled second album debuted at No. 1 on the digital sales chart and at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008. The album included the hit singles “In Love With A Girl” and “We Belong Together.” His third album, Free, was recorded in less than two weeks at the Brooklyn studio of his producer Camus Celli, and is described as recorded versions of his live favorites.

Sweeter, is Gavin Degraw's fourth and most recent album.

Sweeter, a Sept. 2011 release, is DeGraw’s fourth and most recent album that includes many tracks co-written by other artists. The first single off the album, “Not Over You,” was released on iTunes in June 2011 and is his first song to reach the top spot on the Adult Pop Songs list.

“Co-writing with other people changed everything for me,” DeGraw said of Sweeter. “Not only did it open my mind to new ideas, but it changed the way I wrote on my own. Playing all these different styles with other musicians led me to think about things differently when I was working my myself. Although it doesn’t stray too far from what I’ve done, I think Sweeter is the first album I’ve made that has caught my true sound, and that was the result of taking risks.”
