The Echo's
Looking for a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your special someone? Join the Friends of Linnaeus Arboretum for dinner, dancing, and live music from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 in Alumni Hall, located on the upper level of the O.J. Johnson Student Union at Gustavus.
The Echo’s, a group of veteran and hobbyist musicians from the St. Peter area, will provide the live music. Members of the The Echo’s share a love of Big Band and swing music by greats such as Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. The group takes pride in playing the best original big band and swing arrangements from the ’30s and ’40s.
Tickets are $28 per person or $25 for FLA members and can be purchased online at gustavustickets.com or by calling the Gustavus Office of Marketing and Communication at 507-933-7520. Seating is general admission and first come, first serve. The deadline to register for this event is Wednesday, Feb. 9.
